Warehouse Associate

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by efficiently handling various tasks related to shipping, receiving, and inventory management. Duties

- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and reach trucks for loading and unloading materials.

- Manage order picking and fulfillment processes to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products.

- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory levels and managing stock.

- Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including inspecting incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.

- Assist in packaging products for shipment while adhering to company standards.

- Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain organized storage areas.

- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.

- Engage in heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.

Experience

- Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with familiarity in warehouse distribution processes.

- Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for troubleshooting equipment issues.

- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes is highly desirable.

- Proficiency in order picking, packaging, and shipping & receiving practices is essential.

- Familiarity with AS400 or similar inventory management systems is a plus.

- Background in manufacturing or construction can be beneficial for understanding operational workflows.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
