About This Job

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift, pallet jack, and other necessary equipment to efficiently move, load, and unload materials from deliveries and within our buildings. This role assists our Warehouse Inventory Specialist in checking in and receiving deliveries as well as keeping all buildings and yard organized and clean. This position also assists in small repairs and pool filter cleanings.

Duties

•

Operate a forklift and pallet jack to unload materials from delivery trucks and move them between storage areas.

•

Verifies items received match packing slips and report any discrepancies and damages to Warehouse Specialist.

•

Keeps all storage areas and yard clean and organized with all items stored in allocated locations safely and securely. Fills in main stockroom with merchandise from other buildings in a timely manner to ensure a proper flow of product.

•

Assists with pool filter cleanings and some small equipment repairs.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with OSHA standards.

•

Assists in order picking processes to prepare items for delivery or customer pickup.

Requirements

•

Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse environment.

•

Familiarity with order picking processes and receiving operations.

•

Knowledge of safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation, particularly OSHA standards.

•

Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack

•

Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

•

Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) safely and effectively.

•

A valid forklift operator certification is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided for the right candidate.
