Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a role in managing the flow of goods in our warehouse. This position requires understanding of various warehouse task. The Shipping Clerk will ensure that all shipments are processed accurately and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our distribution.
Duties
•
Load and unload trucks using forklift, pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
•
Conduct regular stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy and report discrepancies.
•
Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow within the shipping department.
•
Lifting up to 50 lbs. and working in the heat
Qualifications
•
Must have a Driver Class C
•
Experience with warehouse basic computer knowledge is preferred.
•
Basic math skills for inventory counting and order processing.
•
Familiarity with order fulfillment processes in a warehouse environment.
•
Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment safely.
•
Must have flatbed hauling experience
•
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
•
Previous experience in shipping, warehouse operations is an advantage.
•
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
