B19 Consulting is looking for a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Power to join an executive leadership team. In this key role, you will be at the forefront of exciting, transformative projects within the Substation and Distribution sectors.

As the VP of Power, you will oversee the development and execution of groundbreaking engineering solutions, ensuring all designs meet industry standards and codes. You’ll lead a talented team of engineers, drive quality assurance practices, and work closely with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities of the successful VP of Power:

- Lead and inspire a national team of engineers specializing in substation and distribution design.

- Ensure compliance with QA/QC practices and industry protocols.

- Build and maintain strong client relationships while managing expectations.

- Research and secure new business opportunities to fuel growth.

- Develop and implement strategies to target new markets and drive profitability.

- Collaborate with internal and external leaders to execute cross-department initiatives and achieve strategic goals.

- Leverage data to anticipate market trends and deliver a competitive edge.

- Maintain a robust pipeline, including identifying acquisition opportunities and providing decision support.

Ideal experience of the VP of Power:

- A seasoned leader with 15+ years of substation and distribution engineering experience.

- Expertise in managing engineering teams and complex projects.

- In-depth knowledge of utility operations or consulting within the utility sector.

- Strong understanding of CAD software and substation project planning.

- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a Professional Engineer’s License.

- Proficiency with IEEE/EIC codes and standards, and a commitment to continuing professional development.
