Visual Inspector

Job Title: Quality Inspector I – Night Shift (A2/B2) Location: Salt Lake City, UT 84123 Schedule: 12-hour rotating shift | 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM / 6:30AM - 6:30PM

Summary:

We are seeking a Quality Inspector I to perform entry-level inspections and testing of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies. The ideal candidate will use tools such as microscopes, calipers, and micrometers to complete 10–15 types of inspections, ensuring products meet internal and external specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform mechanical, physical, and visual inspections per documented plans

- Handle document scanning, archival, and shipping preparation

- Initiate Non-Conformance reports and support CAPA processes

- Ensure compliance with cGMP and FDA standards

- Work with engineering drawings and inspection protocols

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or GED required (AA/Technical degree preferred)

- Basic computer, reading, and communication skills

- Comfortable sitting for long periods and lifting up to 25 lbs

- Experience with medical device regulations and cGMP preferred

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
