SUMMARY:Primarilyresponsible for planning and directing the division’s activities, policies, objectives, and initiatives according to the mission of the organization. The Vice President will drive growth, manage budgets, and ensure operational excellence. The Vice President will be responsible for instilling a safety-first culture at all levels and driving quality initiatives and outcomes.
· Business Operations: Oversee and actively manage all operations of the division. Appoint leads or managers and assign responsibilities. Manage revenue growth and ensure its continual growth. Reviews analysis of activities, costs, operations and forecast data toward goals and objectives.
· Strategic Planning: Develop and implement the overall business strategies with executive team, monitor industry trends and modify objectives to reflect trends.
· Communication: Communicate the status of projects to the executive team. Prepares documentation for written support and conveys information appropriately. Communicates effectively with Repower team as well as other Zephyr divisions.
· Business Relationships: Ensure highly productive relationships with customers, vendors, subcontractors and other stakeholders.
· Leadership: Build and lead a strong and effective team, delegating tasks and responsibilities effectively and fostering a positive work culture.
· Quality Management: Looks for ways to improve and promote quality.
· Safety: Drive and maintain all aspects of performance with safety first and develop a culture where safety first is met to ensure all employees of Zephyr Wind work safely at work and outside of work.
· Technical Knowledge: Troubleshoot technical mechanical and electrical problems. Solve and manage all challenges within the division.
· Demonstrate the ability to lead, direct, motivate, inspire, workers in a positive manner, and provide input for performance evaluations.
· Understands the customer scope for the replacement and installation of wind turbine generator, drive train and gearbox systems and components.
· Ability to troubleshoot technical mechanical and electrical issues, including work up tower as necessary.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with team members, managers, executives, and third parties.
· Operations of wind turbine generator, drive train, gearbox and blade systems and related equipment.
· Comprehends technical information and design as built drawings provided by owners / manufacturers of the wind turbine major component equipment.
· Extensive knowledge of ERP systems and ability to implement, install, and manage all commerce through our existing systems. Understand current systems and lead the transfer of information from current systems into our ERP system.
· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration or equivalent experience in the wind industry.
· Previous up tower WTG repair campaign experience.
· Multi-platform Wind Turbine OEM experience a plus.
· Proven experience in the executive leadership role in the fast-paced environment of wind generation services and product fulfillment.
· Extensive experience with cloud technologies, ERP and computer systems.
