Valve Technician

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated person looking to start or increase their skills as a Valve Technician. The ideal candidate is someone with a strong work ethic and high attention to detail. It is not required to have prior experience in this field but any prior experience will affect starting pay. A general mechanical aptitude is required. The candidate should also possess strong customer service skills. Overtime and Bonus pay are available with this job.

Duties:

- Inspect, repair, and maintain various types of valves

- Conduct testing to ensure proper valve functionality

- Calibrate valves using precision measuring instruments

- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot valve issues

- Utilize tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters for diagnostics

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in using voltmeters and ohmmeters for electrical testing

- Experience working with precision measuring instruments for valve calibration

- Prior experience in industrial maintenance, particularly with valves and actuators (Encouraged but not required)

- Strong attention to detail to detect and resolve valve issues accurately
