Vacuum Truck Dispatcher (Oil & Gas Field)

Premier Tank Truck Service is looking for an experienced dispatcher to coordinate logistics and maintain logs for our operations in the oil patch surrounding Karnes City, Texas. PTT operates in 3 shale locations throughout Texas. Benefits offered after 60 days. Overtime is available. MUST HAVE GREAT COMPUTER SKILLS

Summary

As an Oil Field Dispatcher, you will be essential in coordinating logistics and ensuring efficient dispatching of resources in the oil and gas industry. Reporting to the Operations Manager, your role involves utilizing core skills in communication, analysis, and freight management to optimize transportation processes. Your proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, along with premium skills in GIS and transportation management systems, will enhance operational efficiency. With a focus on organizational and computer skills, you will contribute to the seamless flow of operations and support the overall success of our team.

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate status updates for drivers and trucks at all times

Collect timesheets and tickets from drivers

Handles phone calls from customers in a professional manner

Respond promptly to all incoming emails

Issues timesheets and ticket books as needed

Requirements:

2 years of experience as a dispatcher or logistics operations

Must have experience with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel

Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Must have a professional demeanor and be able to work in a team environment
