Utility Operator -Transporter

Shift Details:

12-hour shifts (dayshift only)

7 on – 7 off rotation

Job Duties:

1) Custody transfer and quality sample collections (e.g., spot, composite, and

cylinder sampling).

2) Tank inspections.

3) Level and temperature accuracy checks.

4) Lease maintenance (e.g., stormwater management, vegetation control, lawn care, snow removal).

5) Housekeeping of terminal facilities.

6) Security checks.

7) Documentation and record keeping.

8) Follow safety guidelines, processes, and procedures on the job site.

9) Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew to minimize disruptions and maximize productivity.

10) Work cohesively with teams of employees or contractors.

11) Communicate in a polite and courteous manner.

12) Hot shot service

13) Transporting sample cans from site to site

Must have’s:

1) Clean driving record

2) Drivers License

2) Ability to travel 400km’s daily

Before beginning this position, the following training and certifications must be completed. Employees are responsible for obtaining and covering the cost of any certifications they do not currently hold:

Training:

1) H2S Alive

2) Standard First Aid

3) TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods)

4) WHIMIS 2025

5) CSTS 2020
