Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Utility Locator to join our team in Jefferson City, MO. The Utility Locator will be responsible for accurately locating and marking underground utilities such as gas, electric, water, and sewer lines to prevent damage during construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience using utility locating equipment and be able to interpret utility maps and drawings.

Responsibilities:

- Use utility locating equipment to accurately mark underground utilities

- Interpret utility maps and drawings to determine the location of underground lines

- Communicate with construction crews to ensure utilities are marked correctly

- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries

- Maintain accurate records of utility locations

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Utility Locator or similar role

- Knowledge of utility locating equipment and techniques

- Ability to read and interpret utility maps and drawings

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Attention to detail and accuracy
