Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Locator based in Navarre, FL. The Locator will be responsible for identifying and marking underground utilities to ensure safe excavation. Day-to-day tasks include using maps and technology to locate utilities, documenting and reporting findings, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Additionally, the Locator will interact with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to provide accurate and timely information.

Qualifications

- Experience with locating underground utilities and using maps and technology

- Knowledge of safety standards and compliance regulations

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Attention to detail and excellent documentation skills

- Ability to work independently and in varied physical conditions

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in utility location is a plus

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
