Utility Foreman - Relay

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:

Supervise and coordinate your employee’s work, support local network and employee needs, and perform the duties required for the installation and repair of Distribution Automation (DA) devices. The relay foreman must be available for callouts and extended hours.

Motivate and influence a diverse and geographically dispersed work force dealing with a wide variety of safety and training issues.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Education:

Minimum Experience:

+ 5-10 years' experience in electrical substation maintenance or construction preferred. + 5 years of Distribution Automation, protection, and control theory experience or equivalent.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

+ Proficiency in testing relays using test sets. + Understanding of protection schemes. + Familiarity with SCADA systems and communication protocols.
