Licensed Electrical Foreman
Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico

Field Talent is hiring a skilled and experienced Licensed Electrical Foreman to lead commercial electrical projects. We’re looking for a hands-on leader who can manage crews, coordinate with project stakeholders, and deliver high-quality results on time and within budget. What You'll Do:
Leadership & Project Oversight
•Supervise crews of apprentices, journeymen, and laborers on commercial job sites.
•Assign tasks effectively based on individual skill levels.
•Maintain project schedules and budgets with precision.
•Uphold quality standards and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
Technical Execution
•Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs with minimal supervision.
•Ensure all work complies with NEC, state, and local electrical codes.
•Conduct regular jobsite inspections and address issues proactively.
•Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
Coordination & Planning
•Collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and General Contractors.
•Plan workflows 2–4 weeks in advance to boost efficiency and reduce downtime.
•Submit accurate material and equipment requests, with regular 2-week lookaheads.
•Coordinate subcontractors and trades to ensure seamless jobsite operations.
•Maintain detailed records of work progress, inspections, and compliance.
Safety & Compliance
•Enforce company and OSHA safety protocols daily.
•Lead safety meetings and job briefings; identify and mitigate hazards.
•Ensure proper lockout/tagout procedures and electrical safety practices are followed.
•Mentor team members on safe work methods and regulatory standards.
Team Training & Development
•Train and develop apprentices and journeymen in the field.
•Provide feedback to improve team performance and skillsets.
What You Bring:
•Active Journeyman or Master Electrician License in NM and/or TX (Required)
•5+ years of commercial electrical experience
•Proven experience leading crews as a Foreman or Lead Journeyman
•Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in physically demanding conditions
•Strong blueprint reading and troubleshooting skills
•Effective communicator and team leader
•Deep knowledge of electrical systems, including panels, transformers, and motor controls
•OSHA 30 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

•Indoor/outdoor work in all weather conditions
•Work at heights, including ladders and scaffolding
•Physically active role requiring standing, kneeling, bending, and lifting
•Exposure to construction dust, noise, and electrical hazards
