Utility Construction Labourers

RAHCAR Power Corp. Is a growing company in the Utility Construction and Maintenance Industry. We are looking for two to four highly-motivated individuals to join our team as a Powerline Construction Labourers, based out of Calgary Alberta.
You will be working with a team assisting with the construction of shallow utilities in new developments in Calgary and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:
•
Comply with company policies, ensure safe and productive completion of tasks.
•
Assist with the duties related to the installation of underground power, gas, and communication facilities.
•
Operation and general maintenance of equipment/vehicles.
•
Operate manual and power tools.
•
Ensure that work areas remain clean and well organized.
•
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
•
Valid class 5 driver’s license.
•
Strong safety focus.
•
Excellent interpersonal, team participation and communication skills.
•
Local to Calgary area or able to relocate prior to beginning position.
•
Must be able to comfortably perform physical tasks (lifting 50 pounds, pulling cable etc) and able to work in all weather conditions.
A few qualifications that would help you succeed:
•
Valid class 1 or 3 driver’s license is an asset.
•
Experience running heavy equipment (excavator/back-hoe).
•
A passion for your work and a drive for excellence.
•
Standard First Aid
•
Willingness to travel on occasion if required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
