Algoma Power Inc. is an electric distribution company that serves approximately 12,000 customers in the district of Algoma with over more than 1,800 kilometers of distribution lines in an area that covers approximately 14,200 square kilometers. Under the general direction of the Supervisor, or delegate, the incumbent will be responsible for performing all vegetation management activities undertaken by the Company, including but not limited to right-of-way clearing and maintenance, line clearing, contract monitoring, outage planning, right-of-way condition assessment, assisting in unplanned outage response, maintenance and operations of tools and equipment.

The candidate will contribute ideas to improve worker safety, public safety, work efficiency with strong customer service; be involved in adopting new methods and approaches and have a high regard for health, safety and environment, ensuring compliance with internal and external policies, procedures and standards.
