Utilities Engineer

OWASA is seeking a team member to join our capital improvements team as a Utilities Engineer in the Engineering Department. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of assigned capital improvement projects.

Typical Qualifications

Position requires a Professional Engineer license with a minimum of four years of relevant experience and a North Carolina Class C driver’s license. Successful candidate must have knowledge of engineering and project management principles and practices used in the design, permitting, and construction of public water and wastewater projects. Candidates should be self-motivated and have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with a proven ability to effectively manage projects.
