Underground Utility Laborer

Underground utility company is hiring laborers, experience preferred but not required, to perform the following:

- Hand dig to expose utilities

- Shoveling, sweeping, loading/unloading supplies & equipment, preparing work areas for construction

- Ground leveling and job site clean-up

- Operate hand & power tools and perform daily equipment maintenance

- Assist foreman & equipment operators in spotting utilities

Applicants should have the following qualifications:

- Experience performing various tasks such as shoveling, sweeping, preparing work areas, job site clean-up

- Able to perform physical demands of the job including lifting heavy objects, walking/standing for long periods of time

- Ability to perform essential functions safely in various weather conditions

Applicants must possess a valid driver's license & have a good driving record. No DUIs/OWIs within previous 5 years.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
