Training Opportunity for Telecommunications & Gas Company Inspectors:
We welcome experienced telecommunications or gas inspectors to apply for this position. We offer comprehensive training in electrical inspection aspects to enhance your skill set.
· Coordinate activities with internal personnel and external organizations to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and project timelines.
· Maintain a thorough understanding of industry best practices, standards, and customer requirements.
· Manage the setup and dismantling of complex traffic control systems, prioritizing safety at all times.
· Conduct detailed reviews of underground structures, capturing comprehensive photographic documentation and diagrams.
· Ensure compliance with permits, easements, and environmental regulations, liaising with various stakeholders as needed.
· Oversee multiple inventory projects from inception to completion, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
· Foster a safety-focused work environment in line with Cornerstone Utility Engineering protocols.
· Develop and manage project schedules, including resource allocation and coordination of personnel.
· Review and approve subcontractor time sheets, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
· Assist Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW) personnel as needed, facilitating tasks such as structural assessments, gas testing, and safety inspections.
· Maintain open communication with Southern California Edison (SCE) regarding safety concerns and project updates.
· High school diploma or equivalent, supplemented by relevant training and experience.
· Demonstrated proficiency in reviewing civil construction plans and managing project resources.
· Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and resolve issues.
· Experience managing multiple projects concurrently and adapting to changing priorities.
· Proficiency in technical areas related to engineering, construction, and computer applications.
· Ability to work independently, make informed decisions, and take initiative to achieve results.
· Physically fit and capable of working in diverse environments and weather conditions.
· Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to remote locations as required.
$25.00-$35.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, productivity, and job site safety record.
