Job Responsibilities:
•
Operate an air buggy drill for long hole drilling operations in an underground mining environment.
•
Read and interpret drill layouts, drill hole plans, and technical specifications.
•
Ensure accurate hole placement, depth, and angles per specifications.
•
Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on equipment.
•
Monitor drilling operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
•
Follow all company and site-specific safety regulations and procedures.
•
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
•
Minimum of [3] years of experience as a Long Hole Driller in an underground mining environment.
•
Proficiency in operating air buggy drills and understanding drilling techniques.
•
Strong knowledge of ground conditions, drilling patterns, and blasting procedures.
•
Valid underground common core modules.
•
Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.
•
Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing conditions.
