CDL Truck Driver (Commercial Drivers License Class A)

We are looking for a self-motivated CDL Class A Truck Driver to deliver lumber, trim and other building materials to new home communities within the NW Ohio region. This position is responsible for representing our products and services in a professional manner while maintaining the integrity of our company.

Truck Driver will be responsible for delivering material directly to customer's job-sites using the most efficient route available. Ensures that delivery schedules are met while providing friendly and professional service at delivery site. Assists with loading and/or unloading of materials. Must possess good communication skills and familiarity with Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Maintains driver's log and other records to ensure that Federal DOT reporting requirements are being met. Complies with all highway rules and regulations. Ensures the safe operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements. Determines condition of vehicle by inspecting vehicle before and after use, logging inspection and reports defects or safety issues to the dispatcher immediately.

A valid Class A CDL driver's license is required. The individual chosen for this position must maintain a valid, insurable driver’s license and successfully pass required DOT pre-­employment screening. A minimum 2 years of driving experience, including tow motor or piggyback experience and minimal CSA points required.
