Job Summary
Perform any combination of the following duties: plan and prepare nutritious meals for crew members, ensure that all necessary food provisions are on board, Responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of the galley its equipment and utensils, with the approval of the Captain, order galley supplies and groceries, manage all meals to reduce waste and hold stores to a minimum, immediately inform the Captain of any malfunction of galley equipment or systems.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:* Know, understand, follow, and carry out all company safety rules, procedures, and policies as stated in the Employee Handbook and the Responsible Carrier Program, especially as they relate to the safety of the galley and all crew members and visitors who enter the galley.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:* Educational Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and/or experience, along with holding a current valid driver's license.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:* Willingness to work the scheduled hours that the Boat operates under. Must be familiar in the use of, but not limited to; ovens, stoves, fryers, warmers and serving tables, sinks, kitchen utensils, and can openers.

The Physical Demand Level for this job is: M – Medium Work: Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
