Position: Traffic Control Device Hauler

Reports to: Traffic Control Supervisor

Summary:

Utility Traffic & Restoration, LLC (UTR) is now accepting applications for an immediate opening for traffic control device haulers. UTR is a union contractor specializing in traffic control and surface restoration services for utility companies and their contractors throughout the Midwest.

Primary responsibilities:

- Set up, maintain, and remove temporary traffic control work zones according to WISDOT, ATSSA and MUTCD standards to maintain safe work zones for customers

- Additional duties as requested by management

- Pay starting at $25.86/hr. Exceptionally qualified candidates may receive more.

Qualifications:

- Experience in a traffic control environment is preferred

- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, is required

- Ability to create and maintain relationships with vendors, customers, and employee’s

- Ability to coordinate several tasks at once and work under strict deadlines

- Valid driver’s license class D with clean driving record

- Must be able to pass a background check, drug testing, and DOT physical

- Must always be reliable and professional

- Must excel in working independently

- Ability to safely operate a company vehicle to and from job sites

- Must have strong attention to detail and surroundings

- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds on a semi-regular basis

- Compliance with all safety regulations is mandatory

- Must be able to work in all weather conditions
