The Opportunity:
Working in the Refinery Maintenance Department the Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for managing, maintaining, and tracking tools, equipment, and consumables within the maintenance shop. This role ensures all tools and equipment are organized, serviced, and utilized in compliance with safety standards and manufacturer requirements. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate inventory, coordinating repairs, and supporting the safe operation of shop tools, breathing air equipment, lifting devices, and other equipment and supplies.
Education & Licensing:
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). + Strong computer literacy with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
+ Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail. + Strong communication skills—both written and verbal. + Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities and workload. + Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. + Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with personnel across all levels of the organization, including contractors. + Manage competing priorities with frequent interruptions.
+ Strong commitment to an Injury & Incident Free (IIF) workplace and safety culture. + Willingness to embrace change and contribute to ongoing improvements in safety and reliability. + Comfortable speaking in group settings such as toolbox talks, team meetings, and shift changeovers.
