Position Overview
The Tool and Die Maker is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and fabricating stamping tools and dies, supporting production efficiency and quality. This role ensures that all parts produced meet IFAB Corp. and customer standards, while promoting safety and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure parts meet IFAB Corp. and customer standards, including dimension tolerances.
- Repair and maintain stamp tooling.
- Fill out and file Preventive Maintenance Sheets accurately.
- Perform tooling changeovers, remove punches for sharpening or replacement, and troubleshoot tooling to achieve proper part quality.
- Participate in new tooling try-outs or engineering changes to ensure safety for operators and equipment. Recommend tooling repairs when necessary.
- Keep the work area and machines clean and organized.
- Maintain spare and change-over tooling for efficient accessibility.
- Ensure all necessary hand tools are available and properly used for tooling repair.
- Notify supervisors of any production or equipment issues.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in CNC operation preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of tool and die experience.
