TOR Engineering is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to provide design services to support our transmission and distribution substation projects as well as our overhead Transmission line design projects for both utility and commercial clients. Projects can typically vary from 4kV thru 500kV. This position is an advanced level position open to individuals with at least 6 years of Structural Engineering experience.
Individual should have an eye for detail, have a good work ethic and be a team player. Familiarity with Structural plan development & AHJ permitting approval is a must. Creativity is a must. Candidate should have the ability to lead their own project with support from internal designers, and drafters. TOR is a small company with room for you to directly develop relationships with customers and foster company ties with many facets of the electric utility community. Our organization’s size allows us to take a highly adaptable approach to projects that affords a much faster reaction time to changes in design scope or issues in construction that larger organizations are unable to achieve. The candidate must be willing to be flexible to the client’s needs as well as the demands and changing conditions of a project in construction.
