As a student intern, you will work side-by-side with industry leaders developing innovative technologies that shape the future of energy production. - Job location: Calgary, AB – Head Office
- Shift schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off - 8 hours/day (Monday - Friday)
- Term length: 4 Months
- Term starts: May and September 2026
- Safety sensitive position: Yes
- Gain hands-on engineering experience on projects that improve Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage (SAGD) and Cyclic Steam Stimulation (CSS) operations, including water treatment, steam generation, and deoiling
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to gain broad engineering experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Collect, analyze, and interpret trial data to help evaluate emerging technologies for steam and water treatment processes
- Support the development of advanced analytical tools and prepare technical reports and summaries
- Present findings and contribute to recommendations for piloting new thermal technologies
- Currently enrolled in your 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of an engineering degree program (Chemical, Mechanical, Energy, and Petroleum/Oil & Gas disciplines preferred)
- Strong interest in data analysis and a willingness to learn technical tools and methodologies
- Good communication skills, with a readiness to present and share technical information
- Possess a valid Class 5 Alberta driver’s license or equivalent out of province license
- Motivated, takes initiative, collaborative, resourceful, and able to manage multiple priorities
