Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating dump trucks and other heavy equipment, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency. This role is essential for transporting materials to and from construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to specifications.

Duties

•

Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as soil, gravel, and asphalt to construction sites.

•

Collaborate with site managers and other team members to ensure timely delivery of materials.

•

Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

•

Maintain accurate records of materials transported, including delivery logs and vehicle maintenance.

•

Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed, utilizing backhoe or loader operation when required.

•

Perform basic maintenance on the truck, including checking fluid levels and reporting any mechanical issues.

•

Follow all safety protocols on construction sites, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

•

Participate in horizontal drilling operations when necessary.

Qualifications

•

Proven experience as a Dump Truck Driver or in a similar heavy equipment operation role.

•

Knowledge of construction site operations and safety regulations.

•

Familiarity with operating various types of heavy equipment, including graders, water trucks, and loaders.

•

Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on vehicles.

•

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

•

Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required.

•

Physical stamina and strength to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy materials.

•

Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
