Dump Truck Driver

Qualifications:

English

Clean Driver’s License – Within the last 5 years (Required)

Ability to Pass Drug Test (Required)

US Work Authorization (Required)

Must be able to Drive a Manual Transmission (Required)

Must have Class A or B CDL (Required)

Must have a Minimum of 2 Years CDL Driving Experience (Required)

Must be at least 25 Years of Age

Job Description:

- Transport raw materials to and from pit/manufacturing locations and job sites

- Daily Truck Inspection - Inspect the vehicle for mechanical items and safety issues

- Comprehend and perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations; obey all FDOT regulations

- Complete work as assigned by Truck Coordinator and/or Foreman

- Wear PPE as directed

- Complete route as quickly as possible while maintaining safety standards

- Be a courteous driver

- Deliver and pick up asphalt or rock as instructed by Truck Coordinator and/or Foreman

- Ensure truck is loaded with correct material specific for each job

- Inform Truck Coordinator & Lead Shop Mechanic of any vehicle problems

- Inform Truck Coordinator and/or Foreman immediately of any FDOT fines or citations

- Perform Daily Truck Inspection, including general maintenance on trucks during the shift, including but not limited to checking oil, fuel level, tires, and lights

- Ensure truck and cab are cleaned daily

- Complete daily trucking reports timely and accurately, including daily timesheets

- Maintain a professional attitude and performance in accordance with the established personnel policies

- Immediately report all injuries to Truck Coordinator and/or Foreman
