Job Overview
The Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing engineering projects from inception to completion. This role involves managing project schedules, resources, and budgets while ensuring compliance with technical standards and regulatory requirements. The Project Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Develop and manage project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Coordinate and communicate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including technical specifications, progress reports, and cost estimates.
- Conduct technical evaluations and assessments to ensure project feasibility and compliance with standards.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders
- Assist in the development and implementation
- Work with equipment manufactures to scope/price materials and equipment
- Required for project execution.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and project management software (e.g., MS Project).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Works in an office environment but may also spend time on project locations. The role may involve exposure to various weather conditions and potential hazards associated with client sites. Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required when visiting project sites. Standard business hours are typically Monday through Friday, but additional hours may be required to meet project deadlines. The position may require occasional travel to project sites or client meetings.
