We are looking for someone who wants to be part of a global team of engineers and scientists in a technology department for Gas Turbine technologies. The purpose of this team is to develop new ceramic and coating materials, technologies and testing methods for the stationary gas turbine but also for the energy transition in other areas of the business. For the development you will maintain contacts to internal business partners but also to external suppliers for development and manufacturing like powder manufacturers, advanced coating technologies and outside coating vendors. You will manage and implement innovative technologies during their introduction via qualification, industrialization, and production. You will be able to research and verify the possibility of public funding and how this applies to internal funding for your R&D Project. This position is a key technical interface across all parts in the ceramic and coating value chain between design, manufacturing, quality and strategic procurement and marketing. You will have the chance to collaborate with these different departments as well as internal and external suppliers to develop customer requirements for new ceramic and coating technologies. Shopfloor experience in the coating booth would be beneficial. To successfully implement your work, you are willing to travel internationally.
Furthermore, you have coordinative knowledge in the field of project management as a technical project manager in the entire value chain to support the whole team and our business partners.
