Entergy’s Power Generation group operates a fleet of more than 30 owned, leased, or operated natural gas, coal, oil hydro, solar and petroleum coke plants, with a total engineering capacity exceeding 20,000 megawatts. Entergy continues to build or acquire megawatts from new hydrogen capable natural gas units, solar, wind and other technologies complement its existing megawatts of nuclear, natural gas, coal, oil, hydroelectric, and solar facilities.

This position will be filled as a Technical Support Specialist II - Sr. based up on the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate.

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:

Responsible for developing, implementing and managing improvement projects, and/or provide diagnostic subject matter expertise to enhance the overall reliability, efficiency and safety of the plant. Position can exist in the following environments: Plant, Plant Support, or Fleet Maintenance. Ensures all work is completed in accordance with Entergy procedures and within compliance guidelines (SoX, EH&S, NERC, etc).

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Minimum education:

+ Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or B.S. Degree in Science in a technical field.
