JOB TITLE: Technical Support

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

As Technical Support Lead you must have a thorough understanding of all tools in Metabo HPT Line up and possess a thorough knowledge of our repair processes needed to support Metabo HPT Customers. In addition, as Lead, be able to support other Tech Support and Admin Support personnel by offering continued training in best practices, HPT processes and procedures. In the absence of the Assistant Mgr, you are responsible in supporting the dept and aid on resolution management in the daily operations. As a team leader you will be responsible to provide direction, instructions and guidance to the group.

Education and Experience:

High School diploma required;

Minimum two years related experience and/or training;

or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:

Ability to read, write and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance

instructions, and procedure manuals. Commutating with other departments as needed.

Computer and Mathematical Skills:

Advanced computer proficiency such as Word, Excel, Outlook, faxing and the ability to

add, subtract, multiply, and divide simple numbers.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense in understanding instructions furnished in

written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete

variables in standardized situations.
