The Engineering Team Leader will be responsible for providing leadership, direction and performance management for distribution activities to direct reports within their assigned headquarters. They will provide safety leadership, budget management, construction scheduling, and compliance measures where needed and contribute to reliability and capital improvement strategy in the Distribution Area. The Engineering Team Leader will be a Team Leader with primary responsibilities of supporting, developing, and training new talent for the Distribution Area. In addition to performance management opportunities, the successful candidate will be expected to support engineering co-ops and promote strategic thinking about the overall workforce. The successful candidate will also be a technical expert, leading engineering on a large scale, high impact projects in the area, while demonstrating world class customer service. In addition, they will be expected to participate in and lead Distribution Area wide initiatives, projects and committees. This role will participate in the Supervisor on-call rotation and lead local storm restoration efforts, as well as on system and off system storm events.
