Team Lead, Operations (Shift Supervisor) Colorado

As Team Lead Operations (Shift Supervisor), you will lead 10-15 operators in your area of responsibility, which includes performance management and solving problems with operating zone issues. You will lead with focus on worker health & safety, as well as the environmentally responsible and reliable operations of the Commerce City refinery.

Minimum Requirements:

- 10 years of experience in process / refinery operations

- Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities

- Strong communication skills which allow you to collaborate effectively with dynamic and diverse groups

- The ability to coach and mentor personnel in operating processes and emergency preparedness

- A High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

- Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship for the duration of your employment

Responsibilities:

- Supervise and provide development for a team of operators in one area of the refinery and ensure proper execution of work

- Foster collaboration and create an inclusive and respectful work environment

- Advance our operational discipline behaviors and opportunities for improvement

- Execute daily and monthly production plans by communicating direction as well as maintenance priorities to our operators

- Perform operator qualification assessments in conjunction with the training coordinator as well as monitor training and qualification statuses of operators

- Lead incident command, emergency response, and effective incident investigations

Location and other Key Details:

- You will work out of our Commerce City refinery, located at 5801 Brighton Blvd.

- Relocation support will be provided for candidates living outside of driving distance to the refinery

- The shift schedule is a rotating 12-hour shift, including holidays, weekends (MDOPY), and overtime as needed

- You will be required to use ladders and work on elevated work sites such as scaffolds and towers with the ability to perform in a variety of different environments both indoor and outdoor as well as within confined spaces

Salary and Compensation Details:

- $130,000 - $140,000 annual salary and an annual incentive (bonus) program
