Summary of Responsibilities

Support the Operations Manager in leading the Assembly & Installation Team. Participate directly in the efficient and exact assembly & installation of the ETC USA centrifuge cascades. Perform the duties of the Operations Manager, as required, during the absence of the assigned Operations Manager. Normal duties will be directed by the Operations Manager and will include managing, assessing, and reviewing performance of Assembly and Installation Technician activities.

Education and Experience

Minimum Qualifications:

•

2+ years’ experience working with centrifuge assembly or installation of materials and processes.

Preferred Education:

•

Associate in Applied Science or equivalent experience.

•

Knowledge of complex data processing systems.

Job Details

•

The work location for this position is ETC US, Eunice, NM.

•

Work Schedule: Professional work schedule with minimal night/weekend support. Some nights and weekend work may be required. Employees are also subject to call-outs as needed.

•

Travel Required: 10% of the time or less as required.

•

Security Clearance Requirement: Controlled Access Area (CAA) Access and a Q level security clearance is required.

•

Work Environment: Radiological exposure expectations of < 100 mrem/yr. General Office, Plant Production Areas. This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets etc.

Primary Functions

•

Perform the duties of the Operations Manager during the absence of the assigned Operations Manager.

•

Guide and manage the Assembly and Installation Team in all centrifuge assembly and installation operations, which include machine assembly and installation.

•

Perform personnel evaluations, assess personal performance, and document as required.

•

Regular performance of all Assembly and Installation Technician functions.

•

Have the ability to work with and use all equipment and safety gear associated with welding and other assembly practices.

•

Additional tasks as defined after NRC Q clearance.

•

Communicate with co-workers, management and others in a courteous and professional manner.

•

Confirm with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.

•

Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Other Job Tasks

•

Report all outcomes to Operations Manager/Site Manager.

•

Comply with all production planning, regulations and instructions regarding centrifuge machine assembly and installation.

Physical Demands

Team leader, assembly and installation has a physically demanding job, which may include standing and walking for long periods. In addition, incumbent will have to push or pull up to 75 pounds and is required to be able to safely lift 50 lbs.

Starting at: $88,575 - $105,446 / year and up dependent on candidate.
