Flint Hills Resources Field Services Team in Corpus Christi, Texas, is looking for a Tank Program Project Manager who will provide project and construction management support for tank projects to advance the FHR Vision and increase business value creation.
The Tank Project Managers are a vital part of the FHR Field Services Tank Program team that is continuously seeking ways to improve tank maintenance outages through innovation and experimentation. The role is unique as it allows the individual the opportunity to use project management skills while developing their construction execution capability in the field.
The Tank Program Project Manager role is accountable for providing integrity-based leadership for the construction, repair, commissioning, and startup of industrial tank projects. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in construction and project management processes as well as best practices, including project site management, project safety, and site logistics. Additionally, the Tank Program Manager will strategically coordinate other groups associated with the success of the program pulling together information and needs from environmental, inspection, operations, economics & planning to support business objectives by safely and responsibly delivering project goals including product quality, production, schedule, and cost. Ensures tank projects are meeting estimates and works closely with the business team stakeholders for alignment as it relates to initial and discovery scope to final closure and return to service of the tank. Develops, implements, and ensures tank learnings from Ph.7, incidents, etc. are captured and implemented in tank program systems and processes.
- 3+ years of project management experience.
- Industrial and/or tank-related project controls and estimating experience.
- Associate's degree in construction science/management, engineering technology, industrial engineering (or similar discipline), and 3 years of experience in industrial construction OR 7+ years of construction experience.- Direct work experience managing API 650/653 construction projects.
- Experience in phased project delivery (in accordance with project management guidelines).
- Industrial/construction management experience, including procedures and process development.
- Analytical skills including PowerBi, Microsoft Projects and AgilePlace.This role is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
This role is subject to the Transportation Workers Identification Credentialing (TWIC) rule and requires the successful candidate to obtain a TWIC identification badge, allowing for un-escorted access to the facility within a specific time period.
