As a Multi-Skilled Operator at our Kearl site, you'll put your expertise to work on various heavy machinery while building your career alongside professionals who value safety, quality, and supporting each other every shift. FLINT is hiring Multiskilled Operators for a permanent role in Fort McMurray, AB, starting September 2025. Enjoy a 14/14 schedule, camp accommodations, flights from Calgary or Edmonton, and benefits after 300+ hours.

Qualifications

- Minimum of 2000 hours of experience operating a 250+ excavator, coupled with at least 2000 hours on 988/966 Loader and 2000+ hours on D8+ Dozer.

- Demonstrated experience in open pit mining, with a minimum of 2000 hours.

- Tailings/Cell experience is an asset.

- Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements:

- CSO or BSO (Common Safety Orientation from Energy Safety Canada or OSSA Basic Safety Orientation)

- Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.

- Ground work is required.

- Able to train on new equipment when requested.

- Able to provide a clean 3-year drivers abstract with under 9 demerits.

- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.

Additional Information

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
