As our Surface Equipment Operator, you will operate heavy equipment to haul and place tails/waste material to keep our production going and our profitability up. Every day you will work at a mine site on a remote island about 18 miles outside of Juneau, Alaska. You'll start every day with safety first by doing a pre-op on your equipment before operating and report any maintenance issues. You will be called upon to assist maintenance in work, adapt plans, and convey project statuses to team members. To thrive in this role, you must operate large tractor trucks with trailers, dump trucks, loaders, dozers, forklifts, backhoes, and excavators in any weather condition. We're on a remote island, you must know how to work independently.
