Surface Electrician

About the Role:

As a Surface Electrician, you will perform various tasks related to electrical installations, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair in or around preparation plants or associated surface work areas. The Surface Electrician will work closely with supervisors and other team members to maintain a safe work environment while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:* Perform such tasks that may include installation of electrical and mechanical systems, wiring of fixtures or equipment as well as maintenance or repairs of mining related equipment.

Who You are:* Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Environment and Safety* Ensure adherence to State, Federal and Company workplace policies and standard work procedures for risk identification, risk assessment and risk control.

Physical Requirements - Underground:* Must be able to stand for long periods of time on uneven, rocky surfaces.
