Job Summary: Urbix is seeking a highly skilled and driven Supply Chain & Procurement Manager to establish a robust supply chain and procurement function capable of supporting our rapid growth. This role will be critical in preparing the organization for capital projects related to its anode pilot plant in Mesa, Arizona, delivery of a commercial scale greenfield capital project and pre-FID activities related to the same. Reporting to the CFO, you will lead the development of supply chain processes, vendor management frameworks, contract negotiation strategies, and logistics oversight and coaching the existing purchasing team.

Candidate Profile

· 7–12 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, and contracts in industrial, chemicals, mining, or capital projects

· Proven expertise in contract drafting, negotiation, vendor management, and supply chain operations

· Experience supporting capital projects, including sourcing of equipment and engineering services

· Strong understanding of supply chain planning, procurement governance, and compliance in an ERP or Excel-driven environment

· Hands-on, process-building mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced, scaling environment

· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and implement a supply chain and procurement policy, approval thresholds, and PO compliance framework

· Lead procurement and supply chain management for engineering services, consultants, and capital projects

· Draft, negotiate, and manage material and service contracts

· Create RFP templates, manage bid processes, and ensure competitive sourcing for major purchases

· Oversee inbound logistics, materials management, and coordination with operations for critical supplies

· Build and maintain preferred supplier lists and vendor performance tracking

· Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Finance to establish procurement controls and training

· Improve commercial terms with suppliers, focusing on payment terms and risk mitigation

· Mentor and provide guidance to the existing purchasing team on tactical procurement execution
