Job Title Supply Chain Coordinator

Summary
Coordinate the overall efficiency, accuracy, and accountability of
warehouse inventory and
stock levels for the Transmission Department.
Essential Responsibilities
Warehouse
Oversee the transmission warehousing, storage, distribution, and
management of
corporate material to ensure it is immediately available in an orderly
manner.
Provide an efficient order filling and material delivery and
distribution system to supply user
department needs.
Oversee the receipt and inspection of material in a timely and effective
manner. Resolve
purchase order issues, coordinate with the supplier and buyer as needed.
Purchasing
Prepare parts quotations for transmission projects and maintenance
items. Create parts
list, send requests for quotes (RFQs) to suppliers, archive supplier
quotations, and
consolidate supplier quotations.
Ensure requisitions meet the specification for construction according to
the Rural Utilities
Service (RUS).
Process parts list into requisitions and expedite orders on an as needed
daily basis.
Provide supply chain staff with requisitions, quotes, and lead times
through the Database
Management System.
Receiving
Coordinate and track delivery of inventory and project items.
Load and unload material, supplies, equipment, and other items at
warehouse locations.
Identify, label, and store material received using established
accountability processes and
procedures.

Inventory
Advise management of the status of work in process (WIP), material
availability, and
potential problems to ensure that equipment, materials, and services are
provided as
needed.
Schedule and conduct inventories for transmission material in applicable
location(s).
Resolve any discrepancies and maintain inventory count sheets and
records.
Monitor supply of spare parts to meet standard needs of department.
Continuously improve forecasting techniques and stocking method while
maintaining
adequate inventory.
Maintain effective control over inventory level using established
procedure for accuracy
and accountability.
Fill stock requests for the Transmission Department.
Identify materials with no further use and recommend disposition.
Recordkeeping
Maintain computer and/or manual recordkeeping documents as required.
Advise the Engineering Department of schedule adjustments and special
distribution
requirements.

Perform other tasks as assigned or required to support Sunflowers
mission and
operations.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
High school diploma and three years warehouse, purchasing, transmission,
or distribution
experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Knowledgeable in concepts and principles of inventory management.
Possess time management skills and the ability to assign priorities.
Strong organizational skills.
Able to build relationships and collaborate with a variety of people.
Able to develop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and
complexity.
Able to obtain a basic knowledge of tools and materials used within the
Transmission
Department.
Able to learn the use of fork lifts, pallet trucks, and other supply
room related equipment.
