The Engineering Supervisor in project execution is responsible for providing technical leadership to a diverse team of engineers, supporting projects of varying sizes within their area of responsibility.
This role involves managing both internal and external resources, with a steadfast commitment to maintaining safety as the highest priority.

Responsibilities/Expectations:•Supervise engineers supporting a portfolio of projects, including growth and tactical initiatives. Lead the team and manage engineering resource requirements, overseeing project activities of engineers, third-party managers, consultants, inspectors, and contractors.
•Serve as a contact point for providing technical directions to project stakeholders; develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external business partners.
•Ensure engineering deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and with proper resource allocation, while adhering to engineering processes and standards. Develop and manage budgets, plans, and forecasts; conduct regular cost analysis, and manage costs with a focus on safety, high reliability, environmental, and regulatory compliance.
•Participate in planning, commissioning, and start-up of new and modified facilities.
•Implement and monitor engineering processes and standards to ensure quality and compliance. Work with outside vendors and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
•Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with key business partners and cross-functional teams, including project management, design, and other stakeholders, to drive project success and continuous improvement.
•Coordinate workforce planning and career development for team members, fostering a culture of innovation and holding the team accountable for performing all work in accordance with requirements and standards.
•Perform other duties as assigned.
Education/Years of Experience:
•Required: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other technical field; a minimum of six (6) years of engineering experience
•Preferred: Previous leadership experience; PE Certification
Additional Responsibilities/Expectations:
•Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, prioritizing safety.
•Support the team in developing engineering solutions to complex problems that improve performance, efficiency, and safety.
•Develop engineering design strategies and provide detailed estimates for functional strategy development.
•Analyze, develop, and implement process improvements, documentation, and reports.
•Participate in facility engineering reviews, design reviews, Process Hazard Analysis, Layer of Protection Analysis, model reviews, and PSM audits.
•Establish relationships with third-party engineering firms to support projects during peak workloads.
•Monitor and maintain a high group capitalization rate.
•Proficiency in Microsoft applications and PC skills.
Other Requirements:
•Preferred: A minimum of seven (7) years of design and project experience
•Preferred: PE or PMP certification
•Preferred: Experience in commissioning, project management, process safety, MOC, and standards management
, Provides supervisory leadership to a team of employees who perform tactical technical services (systems and equipment maintenance and repair) in support of operations. Performs people management responsibilities. Requires a deep understanding of II/E, Maintenance, Corrosion, Pipeline, Engineering, and Design disciplines.
