Our summer internship program offers a dynamic, hands-on opportunity to exploremultiple career paths—from engineering and emergency management to marketing and analytics to safety and business operations to business development and procurement (and more!)—all in one internship.

Interns will be immersed in a fast-paced environment where collaboration, data analysis, and innovation drive meaningful contributions across the organization.

Interns will enjoy team-building events, professional development workshops, and a behind-the-scenes look at how Florida’s fastest-growing natural gas utility operates.

We’re looking for curious, committed students who are ready to dive in for this immersive 12-week experience that runs May 18, 2026–August 8, 2026. We ask for your full commitment to make the most of this opportunity.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Collaborate across departments and statewide teams

- Conduct research and develop strategic recommendations

- Apply classroom knowledge to real-world challenges

- Receive mentorship from experienced professionals, and build a professional network that lasts beyond the summer!

- Present your work in a final showcase

- Contribute to meaningful projects that align with our business goals

PROGRAM DETAILS

- Duration: May 18 – August 8, 2026

- Schedule: 36 hours/week, onsite

- Onsite Locations: Tampa Bay Area (Midtown Tampa, Palm River, and more); Travel to other locations

- Note: Housing and relocation assistance are not provided. This opportunity is best suited for students who are or will be local to the area during the designated timeframe.

- Qualifications: Currently enrolled in your 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of an undergraduate program, or a graduate program, at an ABET-accredited university or college. Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. A pre-employment drug screening, as well as a background check (including education, employment, criminal and motor vehicle) will also be conducted as part of the pre-employment screening. A physical may be conducted if required for the role.
