SUBSTATION ENGINEER I OR II (Hybrid - La Crosse, WI) Please note this position is open only to U.S. citizens.

Hiring Salary Range for Level I: $65,300 - $98,000 Hiring Salary Range for Level II: $84,500 - $126,800 Compensation is determined by a combination of factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, and certifications. The actual offer may vary, reflecting the candidate's unique blend of experience, educational background, and skill level.
The Substation Engineer is responsible for the engineering and design of the physical aspects of transmission and distribution substations. As a member of a team, resolve problems that may impact Dairyland and its member cooperatives and municipals. Provide continuing technical support to other departments internally to Dairyland and externally, as necessary, to support Dairyland and its member cooperatives and municipals.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education & Experience: Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from an accredited university. Three (3) years of progressive experience in the areas of substation physical design, substation protection and control design or structural design. Knowledge of project estimating and engineering economics. Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is preferred.
