About Us

Key Lake, located in northern Saskatchewan, is the world’s largest high-grade uranium mill. The uranium milled at Key Lake is used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to power a secure energy future.

The Role

In this role, you will:

- Assist with environmental inspections, surface and groundwater water sampling and sample preparation, as well as air quality monitoring.

- Data entry and review.

- Participate in special projects and other day-to-day activities.

- Duties include a blend of field and office work, with the majority of time spent in the field.

Required:

- You are currently enrolled in a science-based post-secondary education program.

- Valid driver’s license.

- Possess strong communication and computer skills.

- You must be returning to school for the academic semester following your work term with Cameco.

- Work a rotational two week in/out schedule and commute to site by aircraft.

Recommended:

- Candidates enrolled and pursuing a diploma or degree in an environmental related field is considered an asset.

- Pleasure Craft Operator Card, and experience operating ATV’s.
