We are seeking safety-focused Structural Ironworkers to join our Seattle City Light team in South Seattle. The Structural Ironworkers perform journey-level metal maintenance, repair, fabrication and installation duties. These positions will have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects and participate in operations that strengthen and improve the reliable operation of Seattle City Light's hydroelectric plants. These positions will report to the Structural Ironworker Crew Chief.
The Structural Ironworker performs journey-level metal maintenance, repair, fabrication and installation duties and leads other skilled craft workers whenever these areas fall within the category of Ironworker, Boilermaker, Steamfitter, Sheet Metal Worker, Plumber, or Certified Asbestos Worker. Structural Ironworkers must make independent structural and metallurgical decisions often in hazardous circumstances at remote job sites. Structural Iron Workers must have the ability to read blueprints, estimates hours and materials needed for assigned jobs.

Four years Journey-level experience as either a Boilermaker, Ironworker, or in a Sheet Metal or Metal Trades (combination of education, training and experience will be evaluated on an individual basis for comparability).

The full salary range for this position is hourly rate $56.21 to hourly rate $62.07.
