Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers with their purchases. You will play a key role in maintaining the store's appearance and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. Your ability to manage time effectively and handle food safely will be essential in this fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs.

- Operate the POS system, including cash handling and processing transactions accurately.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and food preparation areas.

- Upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.

- Provide information about products, promotions, and store policies to customers.

- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve customer service standards.

- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation practices.

Skills

- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming environment.

- Proficiency in using POS systems, specifically Bulloch.

- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.

- Previous experience in the gas station or retail job preferred but not mandatory.

- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
