HVAC experience required. Must hold EPA 608 Universal Certification for the last five years.
Job Summary:
Maintain and repair industrial type heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment and systems; electrical equipment and systems up to 480 VAC such as transformers, bus ducts and heaters. Troubleshooting complex building systems utilizing schematic diagrams and blueprints. Equipment includes centrifugal and reciprocating chillers, heat pumps, cooling towers, air handling units, pneumatic and electric controls, valves, and pumps.
Duties:
General maintenance work involving general repairs to high-and low-pressure steam, water, oil, and air piping; reseating and repairing valves; replacing gaskets; etc.
Qualifications:
At least four years’ experience in steam/hydro/nuclear plant maintenance or its equivalent and a thorough knowledge of this branch of work, being familiar with the expansion and contraction of piping, pipe stresses, temperatures, and pressure.
Experience in the installation and maintenance of HVAC systems, power/electrical distribution systems, electrical and pneumatic control systems, and advanced piping skills.
