Dedicated to facilitating support of Yaskawa Motoman’s Global Sales Team customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Individual will be technical "window person" to Global Sales Team customers, driving resolution of open issues on new robot sales and customer specifications.
Expert in resolution of open technical problems on new robot sales and projects through research and involving subject matter experts including Engineering and YEC.
Utilize technical knowledge to assist in sales process to Global Sales Team customers including clarifying project scope and preparing technical presentations.
One of several technical experts who can respond to emergency service requests from Global Sales Team customers.
Must be able to use Microsoft office applications.
Adhere to all corporate and department ISO policies and procedures to maintain quality standards.
Must be able to multi-task, as will be assigned multiple customers to support.
Expert working knowledge of Yaskawa Motoman products, including hands-on abilities.
Expert on customer and industry specifications and responsible to assure complete documentation is available detailing all aspects of specifications.
Travel required for regular visits to Global Sales Team customers. Must have valid driver's license and full coverage automobile insurance.
Must have exceptional ability to communicate well with Japanese personnel.

Bachelor of Science degree and four to six years related experience and/or training.
Good organizational skills, ability to solve problems, good communication skills, and computer literate. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups and managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
