NextEra Energy (NEE) is seeking an experienced individual to be part of the Power Generation Divisions – Cyber and NERC CIP Compliance Program. This position will report to the Power Generation Division - Network Security Team Manager in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
The Senior PGD Engineer role supports Industrial Control System (ICS) Cyber Security and NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) requirements in fossil, renewable and control center operational environments. Team members in this role will work in conjunction with subject matter experts on ICS security design, configuration, and maintenance in an operational technology (OT) environment. Leverage their technical understanding of network infrastructure, security appliances, and security control configurations within an ICS environment. Have responsible for managing one or more NERC CIP standard requirement programs in support of the execution of operational tasking specific to CIP-002 through CIP-013
Duties will include but not be limited to:
